E.164 VALIDATOR

Test a phone number

Country when the number has no calling code
Phone number
Enter a number to begin.

A valid number is not permission to start a campaign.

This tool checks whether the number fits a country’s numbering plan and converts it to consistent formats. It does not confirm that the number has a WhatsApp account, still belongs to the same person, or may legally receive marketing messages.

E.164 format

The canonical form begins with +, followed by the country calling code and national number without separators. It makes international imports and deduplication more reliable.

Country context

A local number without + can only be interpreted with a reference country. The same opening digits can mean something entirely different elsewhere.

A clear boundary

Structural validation does not replace WhatsApp opt-in, verification of the contact source, or a reliable process for honoring opt-out requests.

Validate phone numbers during import, not one row at a time.

Tiringo accepts CSV and Excel files with up to 100,000 contacts, maps columns with or without headers, normalizes international numbers, and adds valid contacts directly to a reusable group.

Validate without overinterpreting.

Is the number sent to Tiringo?

No. Validation runs locally in your browser. The number you enter is not sent to a server.

Does this tool check whether the number uses WhatsApp?

No. It checks structure and validity against the country’s numbering plan, not whether a WhatsApp account exists.

What is E.164 format?

E.164 is an international representation that starts with +, followed by the country calling code and national number without separators.

Can I validate a complete Excel file?

Tiringo validates and normalizes phone numbers while importing a CSV or Excel file containing up to 100,000 contacts.
