Give existing customers a useful invitation to share, and let each new person decide whether to join.
1. Define the referral offer
Specify who can refer, what counts as a successful referral, and when any benefit is earned. Keep the offer simple enough to explain in two sentences. If both parties receive a reward, state each condition separately. Confirm that the reward exists in your shop or referral system before announcing it.
2. Let the new contact opt in
Build a landing page or signup form that identifies your business and explains the intended messages. Ask customers to share that link themselves. A referred phone number is not evidence that its owner agreed to communication. Do not upload lists of friends into a campaign simply because the referrer provided them.
3. Prepare a targeted invitation
Choose customers with a relevant experience and permission for marketing. Send a draft through Tiringo, using the approved audience and a tested link. Referral codes, eligibility checks, and rewards remain in your external referral process. The campaign itself does not validate signups or calculate referral balances.
4. Review quality and fulfillment
Track voluntary signups, qualified referrals, and benefits actually fulfilled rather than counting every link share as a new customer. Record questions about conditions and simplify the next invitation. Start with one eligible customer group and verify the signup and reward journey before a wider send.
5. Rehearse the referral journey
Follow the shared link as a new visitor, read the signup explanation, and check how the referral code reaches your tracking system. Then review a sample successful referral with staff. If nobody can identify when the reward becomes due, fix the process before asking customers to share it with friends.
- Test the visitor signup.
- Check the referral identifier.
- Confirm responsibility for reward fulfillment.
